RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche has insisted that there have been no enquiries for Timo Werner amid widespread speculation regarding the striker's future.
Following an impressive Bundesliga campaign with Julian Nagelsmann's side, Werner has been strongly linked with the likes of Liverpool and Barcelona in recent weeks.
It has recently been claimed that Barca representatives have already held talks with Werner's father to discuss a potential summer move, but Krosche has since been quick to rubbish those reports.
"There have been no enquiries, and Timo didn't contact us either," Krosche told reporters on Friday. "These rumours have been around for weeks. As of now, there is nothing new."
Werner has chalked up 21 goals from 25 outings in Germany's top flight this term and will see his current deal with Leipzig expire in the summer of 2023.
The 24-year-old is said to be open to a move to Liverpool, although Jurgen Klopp's side are reportedly not planning to activate his £52m release clause.
