Real Madrid have reportedly rekindled their interest in Liverpool forward Sadio Mane following Zinedine Zidane's return as manager.
Los Blancos were linked with a move for the Senegal international during Liverpool's run to the final of the Champions League last season, with some reports claiming that Mane had agreed a deal in principle with the European champions.
However, Zidane's exit just days after watching Madrid beat Liverpool in Kiev effectively ended their pursuit of Mane, who went on to sign a new five-year contract at Anfield in November.
France Football now claims that the Spanish giants are ready to revive their interest as part of a major summer overhaul following a disappointing season domestically and in Europe.
Mane has scored 20 goals for Liverpool across all competitions - and 11 in his last 11 outings - to leave him just one behind Sergio Aguero in the Premier League top-scorers list.
Madrid's bitter domestic rivals Barcelona have also been linked with a move for the 26-year-old after Lionel Messi reportedly urged the club's board to sign him.
