Real Madrid have reportedly cooled their interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe and have now turned their focus to signing Sadio Mane from Liverpool.
Mbappe has been strongly linked with a switch to the Bernabeu on the back of a campaign that saw him score 18 times in 20 Ligue 1 appearances.
However, Le 10 Sport reports that Madrid have conceded they have little chance of signing the Frenchman this summer and will instead wait until 2021 before making their move.
The Spanish giants will now look to lure Mane away from Anfield, it is claimed, with boss Zinedine Zidane considering the 28-year-old as an ideal signing, even if he is valued in excess of £100m.
Mane has enjoyed another memorable campaign for Premier League champions-elect Liverpool, scoring and assisting a combined 24 goals in all competitions.
