Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp does not intend to make an offer for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to a report.
The Argentina international was linked with an £80m move to Anfield last week following the Reds' failure to get a deal over the line for Lyon's Nabil Fekir in June.
Those reports that first emerged in the Italian press are wide of the mark, however, with the Liverpool Echo suggesting that Dybala is not included on Klopp's list of targets for the remaining month of the window.
Liverpool may instead make a fresh approach for Fekir, it is claimed, as they have yet to line up any serious alternatives to fill the void left since Philippe Coutinho's January move to Barcelona.
Dybala has also been touted as a target for Real Madrid, who are expected to offload Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the next few days.
