Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the signing of Sevilla striker Luis Alberto.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Barcelona B, scoring 11 goals in 23 appearances in the Segunda Division.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the Reds have already agreed a contract with the Spanish Under-21 international, but must improve their opening offer of €6.5m (£5.2m).
The same newspaper reports that Los Rojiblancos are looking for a fee in the region of €9m (£7.6m).
