Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly placed Newcastle United midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa on the top of his transfer wishlist.
The former Swansea City boss has revealed that he aims to bring in three or four new "quality" signings during the summer transfer window.
Swans defender Ashley Williams is believed to be a target, while Ben Arfa could be lured to Anfield with striker Andy Carroll, who is on loan at West Ham United, returning to his former club in the North-East as part of the deal, according to The Express.
The Reds are currently sixth in the Premier League table, seven points away from Champions League qualification.
