Liverpool could reportedly make a surprise move for Marseille forward Andre-Pierre Gignac in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has still not signed a new deal with the French outfit and, as it stands, will be a free agent at the end of the current season.
As a result, the experienced forward could be available for a knockdown fee in January.
According to Caught Offside, the Frenchman, who has already scored eight times this season, is keen on a move to the Premier League and has been made aware of the possible interest from Anfield.
Gignac scored 22 times for his current side last season.
