Liverpool have reportedly offered to send Fabio Borini to Inter Milan as part of a deal to bring Mateo Kovacic to Anfield.
Brendan Rodgers's side are believed that have agreed personal terms with the midfielder, but the Serie A side want more than the £15m understood to have been offered by the Reds.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Liverpool are now willing to offer the striker as a makeweight, with Borini having struggled for playing time at the club last season.
Borini, who has also been linked with Lazio, made just 18 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool last season, having spent the previous campaign on loan at Sunderland.
