Liverpool have rekindled their interest in Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic, according to reports.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to add firepower to his attack this summer and has been heavily linked with the likes of Danny Ings and Radamel Falcao.
However, The Mirror reports that they are preparing a £12m move for Jovetic, who will be allowed to leave City after a disappointing two years.
The Montenegro international moved to the Etihad Stadium from Fiorentina in 2013, but injuries and inconsistent form have combined to keep him as low as fourth-choice striker this season.
The 25-year-old has netted five times for the former champions this year.
