Liverpool will reportedly use the money raised from the sale of Raheem Sterling to fund a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus.
The Reds have sold Sterling to former Premier League champions Manchester City for £49m - a record fee for an English footballer.
Reus recently signed a new contract at Dortmund, but it is thought that the Bundesliga side would be willing to sell if they received a large cash offer.
Liverpool have been linked with the Germany international for some time, along with fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester United.
According to The Metro, the Merseysiders are looking to sign Reus this summer, although he could cost them as much as £46m.
Reus has scored 59 goals in 121 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions.
