Queens Park Rangers have reportedly added Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert to a list of potential targets ahead of a busy summer for the club.
After failing to avoid relegation QPR are expected to lose Charlie Austin, who is believed to be attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs following his 18-goal tally this season.
According to the Evening Standard, QPR are prepared to turn to Lambert should Austin express a desire to leave Loftus Road when an offer arrives.
Lambert is expected to leave Liverpool after struggling to make an impact following his move from Southampton, and he could be available for as little as £2.5m.
The 33-year-old has not yet revealed whether he would be willing to drop down to the Championship.
