Zenit St Petersburg have reportedly lined up a January move for Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel, provided they reach the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The 28-year-old has been a first-team regular at Anfield since he was signed from the Russian club by Rafael Benitez in 2008, but has been linked with an exit since falling out of favour last season.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers added to his defensive ranks with Kolo Toure, Tiago Ilori and Mamadou Sakho during the summer, which likely means that the Slovakian will soon be making way.
According to talkSPORT, his former club want him to reinforce their defence should they reach the latter stages in Europe and are prepared to offer around £16m.
Zenit are currently third in Group G, behind Atletico Madrid and Porto, with one point from two games.
