Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he doesn't intend to allow any of his players to leave the club on loan in January.
Defender Daniel Agger has been linked with a temporary move to Napoli, but Rodgers has revealed that he expects his squad players to continue to try to force their way into the starting lineup.
The 40-year-old told The Metro: "It's not about 11 players, it's about the whole squad. If anyone is on the bench, there shouldn't be a question about whether he goes or do other clubs want to take someone on loan.
"With the injuries that we've got, it's a small squad and we don't have to move anyone out. If players aren't in the team, then they need to fight to get back in the team."
Liverpool are currently sitting in second position in the Premier League table.
