Mohamed Salah reportedly wants to earn £400,000 per week in order to sign a new contract with Liverpool.

The Egypt international has enjoyed a sensational start to the season, contributing 10 goals and four assists from 10 Premier League and Champions League outings.

However, the 29-year-old still only possesses a contract until 2023, a situation which Liverpool are currently attempting to rectify.

According to The Telegraph, it may take a contract offer of £400,000 per week for Salah to commit his long-term future to the Merseyside giants.

The report suggests that Liverpool may be ready to meet that figure, making the attacker the highest-paid player in the Premier League.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has recently suggested that he regards Salah as the best player in the world. body check tags ::
