West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that club are in talks with Liverpool to make Andy Carroll's loan move permanent.
The Reds striker's season-long stay with the Hammers has come to an end, and Allardyce has said that the club are trying to make the switch on a full-time basis.
"There are negotiations between the club and Liverpool," Allardyce told BBC Sport.
"Hopefully we can get somewhere in the near future to do that. It's our main priority.
"We have to pursue it to the very end one way or another and we will find out as quick as we can if it is a yes or a no."
Carroll finished the season with six goals for the Hammers.
