Sheffield United have reportedly made a loan approach to Liverpool for young attacking midfielder Ryan Kent.
It is believed that manager Nigel Adkins is keen to bolster his options in the final third of the pitch as the Blades prepare for an assault on the League One playoffs.
According to the Sheffield Star, the player at the top of Adkins's wishlist is 19-year-old Kent.
The report adds that the England youth international is viewed as a replacement for Marc McNulty, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season through injury.
Kent had a stint on loan with Coventry City earlier in the campaign, during which he scored one goal in 17 outings.
