Martin Skrtel has reportedly ironed out his issues with Liverpool and will soon sign a new contract with the Reds.
The Slovakian defender, 30, hit out at his club earlier this month because of the performance-related terms of the new deal initially presented to him.
He described the contract offered as one usually "offered to players who are much older than me or players who have had some health problems", but now, according to PA, the two parties have reached an agreement.
Skrtel, who joined Liverpool eight years ago from Zenit St Petersburg, has a year left on his current Anfield contract.
