Liverpool has announced that academy defender Jakub Sokolik has joined Southend United on loan.
The 20-year-old could make his debut for the League Two side in their match against Scunthorpe United this evening.
Sokolik has made several appearances in the Under-21s Premier League this season.
The Czech player has been part of the Anfield side's academy since 2009.
