Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca has reportedly chosen to move to Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers instead of joining Liverpool.
Both clubs were understood to be vying for the signature of the 22-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in 52 games for Benfica since joining them in 2014.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola now reports that Wolves have won the race and are close to completing a £20m move for the Brazil Under-23 international.
The report goes on to state that Wolves, who were recently taken over by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International, have already secured a work permit for Talisca.
Fosun International are known to have close ties with Benfica, and Helder Costa and Pele have also been linked with moves from the Estadio da Luz to Molineux this summer.
