Liverpool reportedly have no plans to sell Ryan Gravenberch during the January transfer window following links to European and Spanish champions Real Madrid.

Liverpool reportedly have made no plans to part ways with Ryan Gravenberch in the near future.

The 22-year-old has been a star performer for the Reds at the beginning of their Arne Slot era following the departure of legendary manager Jurgen Klopp.

Gravenberch has started 15 matches in the Premier League for Liverpool this season, including the share of the spoils with Fulham at Anfield last weekend.

It appeared as if the Reds were on course for their second loss of the top-flight term against the Cottagers before Diogo Jota netted an 86th-minute equaliser.

Gravenberch is set to be at the base of the Liverpool midfield one more time before Christmas Day as they travel to Tottenham Hotspur on December 22.

Liverpool 'no have plans' to sell Gravenberch

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool are clear in their stance regarding the future of Gravenberch ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

The report claims that the Reds are not actively looking to part ways with the 22-year-old in either the winter and summer transfer windows of 2025.

It is understood that there have been no discussions over a potential sale of Gravenberch, who has been a standout performer for Slot's men.

It is also stated that reports suggesting a swap deal between Liverpool and Real Madrid involving the Dutchman and Aurelien Tchouameni are wide of the mark.

As a result, it is highly unlikely that the 2022 World Cup finalist will be turning up at the Reds' Merseyside home in the New Year.

Stepping up to the plate

The majority of Liverpool's summer transfer business revolved around their attempts to lure Euro 2024-winning midfielder Martin Zubimendi to Anfield.

The Reds ultimately failed in that particular mission, with the Spaniard opting to stay put at his boyhood club until January at the earliest.

There were concerns that Liverpool went into the season short of a top-class option at the base of their engine room, however Gravenberch has stepped up to the plate marvellously.
