West Ham United have reportedly told Andy Carroll that he must make a decision on whether he wants to join the club soon.
Carroll, has been the subject of a loan bid from the Hammers but the Liverpool striker is believed to prefer a return to former club Newcastle United.
Despite not travelling with the Liverpool squad for the victory over FC Gomel on Thursday, it appears that a deal to bring Carroll to Upton Park is far from close to completion.
West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has become frustrated with the interest in Carroll and The Mirror reports that the newly-promoted side could begin to pursue other players.
Carroll would reportedly be paid £100k a week if he moved to West Ham.
