Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid's Luka Jovic as a replacement for Raul Jimenez.
Jimenez is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after suffering a fractured skull against Arsenal last month, and Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has already confirmed that he will look to dip into the January transfer market in search of a replacement.
Liverpool's Divock Origi and former Newcastle United striker Salomon Rondon have been linked with moves to Molineux, and the Express & Star reports that Wolves are also considering Jovic.
The 23-year-old joined Madrid in a £55m deal last year, but has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in the Spanish capital.
Jovic has scored just two goals in 32 appearances for the club across all competitions, and Madrid are thought to be open to selling him in an attempt raise transfer funds for next summer.
The report claims that Wolves' close relationship with agent Jorge Mendes could aid their chances of pushing a deal through during the January window.
Wolves have scored just 14 goals from their 14 Premier League games so far this season.
