England captain Steven Gerrard has insisted that three points is all that concerns him ahead of tomorrow's World Cup qualifier against Poland.
Should Gerrard appear against the Poles it will be the 99th time that he has represented his country.
However, the Liverpool midfielder is adamant that he is more interested in results than milestones.
"Every time you put the England shirt on is a proud moment," he told reporters. "To get 99 is a fantastic achievement for myself but it will only be a good memory if we get the three points that we came for."
When asked what match he remembers most during his 12-year international career, Gerrard added: "If I was pushed and had to pick one game [that stands out] I would say the 5-1 win in Munich."
The 32-year-old made his senior England debut against Ukraine in 2000.
