Rangers have taken a one-goal lead into half time in their away tie against Livingston through a Jason Holt goal.
Livingston struck the first effort of the game after five minutes as Jordan White controlled a high ball before shooting straight at Wes Foderingham.
It was Rangers, however, who gained the advantage through Holt in the 22nd minute. The midfielder found himself on the end of Barrie McKay's through-ball to finish off a Rangers counter-attack.
McKay almost doubled the advantage for Mark Warburton's side after 32 minutes as he curled an effort against the post.
Lee Wallace found Martyn Waghorn inside the box late on in the half, but the league's top scorer was unable to get enough power on his volley as Livingston keeper Marc McCallum gathered the effort.
Livingston had a chance to equalise right before the half-time whistle but White headed straight at Foderingham from Myles Hippolyte's long throw.
