Lorient coach Christian Gourcuff has admitted that his side played very badly in their Coupe de France semi-final against Evian TG.
Evian hammered Lorient 4-0 to reach the final on May 31, and Gourcuff said that his players "blew it" after the opening 10 minutes.
"Quite simply, we played a non-match - we were only in it for 10 minutes," Ligue1.com quotes Gourcuff as saying. "We were incredibly lax when we let them score the first goal.
"In a cup semi-final, that raises a lot of questions. Our attacking play was sluggish and apart from our first opportunity, you can count the number of chances we had on the fingers of one hand.
"At 3-0, after the half-time break, it was tough to get back into the match. We blew it. We're very disappointed to have lost a cup semi-final 4-0. Anger doesn't help things at all; we'll analyse the match calmly."
The second semi-final takes place on May 14 and is between Troyes and Bordeaux.
