Lorient have secured a 3-1 win over Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1 this afternoon.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang created a series of early chances for the visitors but there were few real goalscoring chances for either side for much of the first half.
The hosts made a strong start to the second period, as Kevin Monney-Paquet headed the ball in from close range following a Lamine Gassama cross.
Aubameyang had several chances to equalise as Saint-Etienne continued to push for a goal, but it was Lorient who added the second, Fabian Robert heading in.
Kurt Zouma got the visitors back into the game inside the final 10 minutes with a header following a Romain Hamouma corner, but Yann Jouffre blasted the ball home in the 90th minute to seal the win for the hosts.
