Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Ligue 1 fixtures, including Lyon vs. Lens.

Toulouse vs. Nice (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Round 24 in Ligue 1 pits Toulouse against Nice at Stadium de Toulouse on Sunday.

The home side's recent wins have seen them pull slightly away from the relegation places, while Francesco Farioli's team are struggling for goals in 2024.

We say: Toulouse 1-1 Nice

While Toulouse should back themselves to nick another victory over one of Ligue 1's leading sides, the spoils could be shared on Saturday, extending Nice's winless run to five games.

Nantes vs. Metz (Sunday, 2.00pm)

In a match which looks set to have massive ramifications on the scrap for survival, a resurgent Nantes side will welcome strugglers Metz to Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday afternoon in Ligue 1.

Les Canaris continued their revival with a narrow success over fellow basement dwellers Lorient last time out, whilst Les Grenats were unable to turn their terrible fortunes around against Lyon.

We say: Nantes 2-1 Metz

Nantes have managed much-needed wins over Toulouse and Lorient in recent weeks, and Les Canaris should be confident of repeating the trick on Sunday afternoon.

Against a backdrop of fan protests and financial issues, we do not believe that Metz will be able to earn a positive result at Stade de la Beaujoire this weekend.

Montpellier vs. Strasbourg (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Both aiming to distance themselves from trouble near the bottom of the league standings, Montpellier HSC and Strasbourg will do battle at Stade de la Mosson-Mondial 98 on Sunday afternoon in Ligue 1.

La Paillade find themselves in an unlikely relegation scrap following a woeful run of form, while Strasbourg are also teetering on the edge of top-flight safety.

We say: Montpellier HSC 3-1 Strasbourg

Montpellier collapsed during the defeat at Marseille last time out, but La Paillade should be confident of beating a Strasbourg side who are in turmoil on and off the field.

Les Alsaciens have leaked plenty of goals during their recent Ligue 1 matches, and we are expecting a similar story for Vieira's men on Sunday afternoon.

Brest vs. Le Havre (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Brest will welcome Le Havre to the Stade Francis-Le Ble on Sunday for a game of major importance at both ends of the Ligue 1 table.

With 11 league games to go, the hosts currently sit second in the midst of an unbeaten streak, while their visitors only lead the bottom three by two points.

We say: Brest 2-0 Le Havre

Le Havre competed well against Reims last time out and will be desperate to pick up a result and halt their drop towards the bottom three, but we see the second-placed hosts being too strong and taking all three points to extend their fine run.

Rennes vs. Lorient (Sunday, 4.05pm)

Aiming to continue an eye-catching run of form and crack the top six in the Ligue 1 table, Rennes will welcome Lorient to Roazhon Park on Sunday.

The hosts find themselves unbeaten in the last eight top-flight outings, while their visitors currently occupy the relegation playoff place and will bid to continue their climb towards safety.

We say: Rennes 3-1 Lorient

Lorient should certainly make things difficult for Rennes, given their recent revival and need for points at the bottom end of the division, but the hosts are full of quality and playing at the peak of their powers, and we can only envisage Stephan's men putting another victory on the board on Sunday to continue their march towards the top five.

Lyon vs. Lens (Sunday, 7.45pm)

A rejuvenated Lyon seek a seventh straight victory in all competitions when Lens arrive at the Groupama Stadium for a Ligue 1 date on Sunday evening.

Les Gones sunk Strasbourg on penalties to reach the semi-finals of the Coupe de France in midweek, while their visitors most recently lost 3-2 to Monaco in league action.

We say: Lyon 1-1 Lens

Bumps and bruises from the Coupe de France will come into play for Lyon on Sunday, where leading marksman Lacazette is unlikely to be 100%, but in their current form, Les Gones are not to be counted out against any foe.

A full week of recuperation was just what the doctor prescribed for a jaded Lens side, though, and with Haise's men stringing together an exceptional streak of defensive displays on the road, a low-scoring draw may be in the offing.
