Lyon boss Remi Garde has moved quickly to play down the significance of his side's impressive opening to the new season.
The French side have claimed ten points from the 12 available so far as they prepare to challenge for the Ligue 1 title.
Lyon endured a disappointing season last year, failing to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 14 years.
However, despite the good form this season, Garde said that the next three weeks are the most important.
"Six games in three weeks with opponents who will increase in quality compared to what we had," said Garde.
"As for the 10 points out of 12, I do not know if it was the real value of the team."
Lyon are currently second in the Ligue 1 table, two points behind Marseille.
