Lyon coach Remi Garde has admitted that he felt "relief" after his side ended their six-match winless streak on Sunday.
Les Gones came from behind to beat Nantes 3-1 at the Stade de Gerland, thanks to goals from Bafetimbi Gomis, Clement Grenier and Jimmy Briand.
"My first reaction is satisfaction and then relief," Garde told reporters. "We obtained the win and never gave up despite conceding the opening goal.
"We finished much stronger than Nantes. Fitness training is well done at Lyon. We're not going to get carried away by this win but we need to stay as cohesive.
"We enjoyed the luck we'd not had recently and we dominated possession which pleased me. It's good to be close to the top three."
Lyon face Ajaccio on Wednesday.
