Lyon coach Remi Garde has said that he is taking nothing for granted following their 2-1 defeat of Marseille in the Coupe de la Ligue quarter-finals.
Lyon moved into the next round thanks to goals from Yoann Gourcuff and Bafetimbi Gomis, who cancelled out a single reply from Andre-Pierre Gignac.
"We are happy to qualify obviously but it is a cup match so one shouldn't draw too many conclusions," Garde told reporters.
"It's good to play at the Stade Gerland because we have made some benchmarks here. But you can take nothing granted in the cup, as we saw on Tuesday in another national cup.
"We will try to take the next step, hoping to return to the Stade de France like we did two years ago. The calendar is loaded. We will recover well and not get ahead of ourselves and maybe we have a chance."
Lyon currently find themselves sitting in ninth place in the Ligue 1 table.
