Lyon will attempt to extend their unbeaten start to the season to five matches when they play host to Angers on Saturday.
The visitors, meanwhile, are still searching for their first win of the campaign after taking only two points from their last five games.
Match preview
Fourth-placed Lyon are currently three points adrift of the top three sides with a game in hand after collecting 10 points from their opening four matches.
They began the season with consecutive home victories before dropping points as a result of a 1-1 away draw against Reims.
However, they returned to winning ways in midweek, with Tete and Karl Toko Ekambi grabbing a goal apiece in a 2-1 victory over Auxerre.
As a result of Wednesday's victory, Lyon have now won their previous seven home games in Ligue 1, scoring at least two goals in all of those contests.
After starting the season in impressive form, Peter Bosz will be challenging his side to keep their first clean sheet of the campaign on Saturday.
In stark contrast to their hosts, Angers have begun the season in woeful form, collecting just two points from their opening five games.
In fact, both of those points were taken from the opening two fixtures of the season, as Saturday's visitors have gone on to lose their last three matches.
After losing 3-1 to both Brest and Troyes, Gerald Baticle's side looked to have claimed a point in midweek after Sofiane Boufal and Adrien Hunou scored a goal apiece to level the contest after Angers had trailed by two goals.
However, goals from Folarin Balogun and Alexis Flips condemned Angers to a 4-2 defeat that leaves them 19th in the Ligue 1 table.
Having conceded at least three goals in their last three matches, Baticle will know that his side need to improve defensively if they are to move out of the relegation zone.

Team News
Lyon are expected to be without the services of Houssem Aouar and Sinaly Diomande, who are both struggling with injury problems.
Corentin Tolisso dropped out of the starting lineup for the midweek win over Auxerre, but he could return to the side on Saturday.
Tete scored his fourth goal of the season on Wednesday, and the 22-year-old will have the chance to add to that tally when he features in a forward line alongside Alexandre Lacazette and Toko Ekambi.
As for the visitors, they are unable to call upon Ulrick Eneme-Ella, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
After coming off the bench to score against Reims, Boufal is expected to be rewarded with a starting place on Saturday.
Sada Thioub and Abdallah Sima could also be brought into the starting lineup, while Hunou will continue in the forward line after opening his account for the season in midweek.
Lyon possible starting lineup:
Riou; Gusto, Mendes, Lukeba, Tagliafico; Tolisso, Lepenant, Caqueret; Tete, Toko Ekambi, Lacazette
Angers possible starting lineup:
Bernardoni; Bamba, Camara, Hountondji, Doumbia; Bentaleb, Ounahi; Thioub, Boufal, Sima; Hunou
We say: Lyon 3-1 Angers
Lyon have been in fine form this season and after winning three of their opening four games, we think that they will make light work of an Angers side who have lost their last three matches.
