Maxime Gonalons has revealed that he will hold talks with Lyon as Napoli step up their interest.
Reports suggest that the Partenopei are close to signing the French midfielder in a deal worth €13m (£10.7m), but the 24-year-old has said that there are still matters to discuss with Les Gones.
"When there are big European clubs like Napoli who want you, it's necessary to ask questions," he told OLTV.
"Everyone knows Napoli are interested in me. Many things have been said about this, some of them true and others false, so we must be careful.
"It is true that we'll discuss it with the president (Jean-Michel Aulas) and the coach (Remi Garde) next week to find the best solution, then we'll see what happens. I can't say any more than that right now, as it's necessary for all the parties to be satisfied."
Arsenal were linked with Gonalons during the summer transfer window.
