Malaga forward Javier Saviola has heaped praise upon his club's performance in their 4-0 win over Valencia.
Goals from Francisco Portillo, Roque Santa Cruz, Isco and Saviola earned all three points for the side last night.
"We knew that we could not make mistakes against Valencia, they are a great team. They have many balanced players, ones who can win football games," said Saviola.
"We played a great game in all three areas of the pitch. We knew what our job was and we executed it to perfection.
"I'm very happy here, the team lived up to my expectations. I'm very happy at Malaga and I feel very good within the team."
Saviola joined the La Liga side from Benfica at the end of the summer transfer window.
