Malaga striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has insisted that he is not concerned by speculation regarding his future.
The 35-year-old's contract with the Spanish club is due to expire in the summer and talks have yet to begin regarding fresh terms.
However, the Dutch international has claimed that Malaga's quest for European football remains his sole focus.
"The club and I wanted to sit down in March, but I'm so closely involved with the team, I almost forgot to think about my future," Van Nistelrooy told Leeuwarder Courant.
"But my future is not important. The important thing is that the club ends [the season] as high as possible."
Van Nistelrooy has found the net on three occasions this campaign.
