Malaga have boosted their hopes of a top-half finish in La Liga with a 4-1 win at home to struggling Granada.
Ignacio Camacho headed the hosts in front on 14 minutes before doubling their lead with 37 minutes played thanks to another header.
Granada had a chance to cut the deficit late on in the first half when they were awarded a penalty following Samuel's foul on Yacine Brahimi. However, they failed to convert it as Willie Caballero saved Youseff El Arabi's effort from 12 yards.
Camacho was then fouled in the penalty area by Jeison Murillo at the start of the second period, allowing Nourredine Amrabat to extend Malaga's advantage from the spot.
Juanmi finished from close range on 74 minutes to secure the win for the home side, but Granada had the final say when Caballero's poor kick resulted in El Arabi finding the net with 12 minutes left to play.
