Malaga have beaten Getafe in La Liga thanks to a Roque Santa Cruz strike in the second half.
Getafe had the best chance in the opening minutes of the match, but Pedro Leon's run was stopped by Sergio Sanchez, who conceded a corner. Rafa Lopez then headed over from the set piece.
Pedro Morales did well to drill a cross to Francisco Portillo, but the ball was cleared. From the resulting corner, Sanchez found himself unmarked but directed his header straight at Miguel Moya.
The home side had a great chance to go 1-0 ahead with 24 minutes on the clock, but Juanmi hit the post from close range.
Wilfredo Caballero saved at his near post from Leon's free kick and Vitorino Antunes curled just wide as the match reached half time.
The second half lacked energy until both sides began to up their game. Juanmi lifted his effort over the bar after Moya was unable to hold a Duda shot, before Malaga finally broke the deadlock with 75 minutes gone.
Santa Cruz took one minute to make an impression after coming on, connecting with Duda's cross to power a header into the top corner.
