Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero has signed a new one-year contract extension with Malaga.
The 31-year-old, who joined the club from Elche in 2011, will now remain tied to the La Liga outfit until at least 2017.
The experienced stopper was one of the star performers in Spain's top flight last season, featuring in all but two league games for Malaga as they finished sixth in the table despite their financial problems.
Caballero is yet to gain full recognition for his country, but it is understood that he is being considered for next summer's World Cup in Brazil.
