Malaga defender Weligton has signed a contract extension with the Spanish outfit.
The terms of the deal mean that the 34-year-old, who has been with the club since 2007, will remain tied to the Anchovies until at least 2015.
According to Football Espana, an agreement has also been set that will allow the centre-back to extend his contract for a further two seasons if he makes a specified number of appearances.
The Brazil-born defender has previously played for Parana, Penafiel and Grasshoppers.
