Real Mallorca have confirmed that they have secured the services of Alan Hutton from Aston Villa on a loan basis.

Speculation earlier today suggested that talks between the Scottish full-back Hutton and the Spanish club were at an advanced stage.

Those reports have since proved to be correct, with the 28-year-old having signed six-month temporary contract with Los Bermellones.

Hutton, who spent part of this season on loan with Nottingham Forest, will be presented to Mallorca fans at the Iberostar Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
