Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho has warned his teammates to expect a volatile atmosphere when they travel to face Napoli in the Champions League.
The Sky Blues require just one point away in Italy this week in order to seal early qualification from the group stages, although Fernandinho has insisted that Napoli will prove tough opposition with the staunch support provided by 60,000 fans inside the Stadio San Paolo.
"We don't have atmospheres like this in the Premier League so it will be the first time for some guys, and I hope it doesn't make a difference for us," said Fernandinho, according to the Manchester Evening News.
"On the pitch we need to be calm, concentrate on our job, and try to win the game.
"Most of our young players don't know how it is, especially when you go to South America, where you have to go away to Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. They try to do everything to disturb you, but I hope our team can be 100 per cent focussed and it doesn't make any difference on the pitch."
Fernandinho has made 141 appearances for City since joining the club in 2013.
