Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on striker Sergio Aguero after the Argentine became the club's all-time record goalscorer.
On Wednesday night, Aguero netted his 178th City strike in the 4-2 victory over Napoli in the Champions League to overtake Eric Brook's long-standing tally.
Guardiola has called on the forward to "enjoy" the record after making history at the Etihad Stadium in just 264 appearances in all competitions.
The 46-year-old told reporters: "When one guy has achieved all he has achieved then its big congratulations go to him, his teammates he has played with and managers.
"It's a big record for him. He is a legend for the club and their history. He has to enjoy it and everybody has to be proud of that."
Aguero has netted nine times in 11 appearances for City in all competitions this season.
