Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has claimed that Manchester City are capable of winning this season's Champions League.
The German champions welcome their English counterparts to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night as the two teams get their European campaigns underway.
With the Blues having already earned a 3-2 victory away to Bayern in last season's competition, Guardiola believes that Manuel Pellegrini's side can make a bigger impact this term.
"Last season they were able to win the Champions League and this year they are ready to win the Champions League, like eight, nine or 10 teams other who can win this trophy. We would like to be one of those teams," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
Bayern are currently in second place in the Bundesliga table following two wins and a draw from their opening three matches of the season.
