Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has claimed that the team will have a decent Champions League campaign, despite losing to Juventus on Tuesday night.
The former Premier League champions took the lead at the Etihad Stadium in the second half thanks to an own goal from Giorgio Chiellini.
However, City ended up on the losing side of a 2-1 scoreline as Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata struck to give the Italians three points in Group D.
Despite the result, Kompany remains optimistic as he tweeted: "We'll be alright in the Champions League this year, I'm confident. Thanks for your support. Focus on West Ham now."
The Belgian was substituted during the game with a calf injury, but there has been no official word on the extent of the problem.
