Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has said that he is "100%" fit for the first leg of his side's Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid.
Kompany returned from a month-long layoff against Newcastle United last Tuesday but he was absent from the squad which beat Stoke City 4-0 at the weekend.
However, Kompany has insisted that he only missed out as a precaution and that he is ready to try to guide City to an advantage ahead of the second leg in Spain.
The 30-year-old told reporters: "I'm 100%. Everything went well. As always, unfortunately when you are injured, you're having to work a lot harder than the rest and that's what I did."
Injury has restricted Kompany to just 20 appearances in all competitions this season.
