Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that he does not fear the sack after his side was eliminated from the Champions League.
The Blues were dumped out of the competition at the group stage for the second year in a row as they drew 1-1 with Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.
Asked if he thought that the owners of the club might dismiss him, the Italian told reporters: "I don't fear this.
"If we think, as a team and a club, we can win the Champions League after two years in it, then we are crazy."
City continue the defence of the Premier League crown on Sunday when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
