Samir Nasri has said that facing Barcelona tomorrow evening will help Manchester City put their FA Cup defeat to Wigan Athletic behind them.
Manuel Pellegrini's side's chances of completing the quadruple ended on Sunday when they lost 2-1 to the FA Cup holders in a repeat of last year's final.
The French international told the club's website: "Thank God we play a big game on Wednesday. It is the best way to forget the Wigan game and be focused on the next one.
"It is going to be a big game. We are going to think Barcelona from now on and try to think positive and get a result there.
"It was a bad performance in Sunday and we didn't play well. We did exactly the same as the Capital One Cup final, we woke up after 65 minutes, except this time we were 2-0 down and we cannot always score three goals. The big disappointment is that it is twice now that Wigan beat us in the FA Cup. It is really difficult to accept."
City trail by two goals following the first leg of their Champions League knockout tie against the Spanish champions.
