Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has stressed the importance of his team taking maximum points from tonight's Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow.
Sergio Aguero scored twice as the Citizens came from behind to win 2-1 at Arena Khimki, drawing them level with Bayern Munich on six points in Group D before the champions take on Viktoria Plzen at the Allianz Arena.
The Chilean coach was full of praise for the Argentine forward and Spanish midfielder David Silva.
"I'm very happy," he told Sky Sports News.
"The result is very important for the team. The whole team concentrated with intensity on a difficult pitch.
"Aguero and Silva are both top players and every match they show how they can play football. We are not in the next round but this is very important for us."
City play host to CSKA at the Etihad Stadium on November 5.
