Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has insisted that his team will need to be at their best to overcome Borussia Monchengladbach in the group stage of the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Guardiola's first European group match in charge of Man City will see Monchengladbach make the trip to the Etihad.
The Spaniard took on the Bundesliga side during his time with Bayern Munich and he has branded Andre Schubert's outfit "one of the best teams in Europe".
"The draw was difficult. Borussia Monchengladbach are a brave team - one of the best teams in Europe. If we let them play, they have a lot of quality," Guardiola told reporters.
Guardiola has won all six of his competitive matches in charge since arriving at the Etihad.
