Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Sergio Aguero will play no part in Tuesday's Champions League group clash against Juventus due to a knee injury.
The Argentine was a major doubt for the encounter at the Etihad Stadium after he limped off the field during his side's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
In this afternoon's press conference Pellegrini also confirmed that David Silva and Raheem Sterling are both fit for the game, despite the pair missing the weekend's action with respective injuries.
Pellegrini added that he is hopeful but remains unsure whether Aguero will recover in time to face West Ham United this Saturday.
