Manchester City playmaker David Silva has expressed his desire to pick up a Champions League winner's medal with the North West club after tasting Euro 2012 success.
The 26-year-old was a key player in Spain's 4-0 victory over Italy in the final of the European Championships on Sunday, which has encouraged the midfielder to add to Man City's trophy cabinet following their Premier League glory last season.
"Once I go back to City, I know I will be fully refreshed because I want to win more trophies with them," said Silva.
"The owners of the club have spent a lot of money bringing good players to the club. We have already started to win titles, including the Premier League. Now I hope to show we have the quality to do something in the Champions League."
Questions have been raised over Silva's future but the former Valencia playmaker is reportedly poised to sign a fresh contract with the North West club.
